Tested positive for covid today. Currently my wife , and both parents have it. Wife and mom are basically over it and outside of intense headaches had mild symptoms. My dad who is 61 has been feeling like shit for about 9 days. He’ll be ok but dreads the nights when he feels like hell. I am having headaches and congestion. I’m 32. Parents are 61. My opinion remains the same now that I see it first hand. If you are compromised take precautions and isolate. If not live your life and respect others. Happy new year stay safe everyone. haha my post would probably seem less abnormal if I knew my old handle. I’ve interacted with a few of you. I posted to say the media has sensationalized this and after seeing it first hand still believe (even tho my dad has been pretty sick) people should keep living. Wasn’t posting this for any confrontations.
I think he’s pretty loaded up on all that stuff. He has some dex and something else his dr said to start if his O2 levels drop but I got an update this evening and it seems night 9 he had some improvement so hoping for that to continue. I’m treating tonight like night 2. So far so good. Headache and some congestion is all. Just took vitamins and melatonin and chugged a body armor lite . To my original post I just hadn’t seen a lot of people on this forum and figured someone posting some updates for those that haven’t been around it first hand would be cool and different from some of the stories you hear (I hope). I got some extra sympathy from my wife tonight but her headaches came back so I helped her get kids to bed and she crashed. I’ll check back in a couple days. Gl to you guys with your bets tomorrow.
I had it, I wouldnt of even have known it was it but got tested so the wife could go back to work and came back positive. Had 1 bad day but still worked from the computer.
Had a lingering sinus headache for 2 weeks and lost all sense of smell on day 7-8 ish. Other then that I was back up an running. I do know it effects everyone differently just like any cold or flu.
